Characteristics of Positive Deviancy in Volunteer Management
The Reimagining Service campaign in the United States is an effort to change the way organizations and funders think about and support volunteer management. In addition to the usual advocacy efforts, the campaign has conducted some interesting research projects. One such project, undertaken by the prestigious Deloitte Consulting LLP group, provides insights into what volunteer managers can do to generate support for volunteering within their own organization. This Research to Practice examines the project and provides additional resources related to the Reimagining Service campaign.
